Welcome to EasyHours.eu, a subscription-based time-tracking service provided by Nielsen Ventures. By using EasyHours, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

1. Subscription and Payment

  • EasyHours is a paid subscription service with a 30-day free trial for new accounts.
  • Subscriptions are based on your team's size. You must upgrade your plan if your team grows beyond your current limit.
  • An account Admin manages subscriptions and payments, and ensures the number of users matches the subscription plan.
  • Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment details.
  • You can choose monthly, quarterly, or yearly billing. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
  • Cancellation can be made anytime by the Admin; access continues until the current billing period ends. No refunds for unused subscription periods.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges; downgrades apply at the end of the billing period.

2. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and keep login credentials private. Report any security breaches immediately.
  • Do not share accounts or attempt to bypass subscription limits.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your entered data. EasyHours does not verify data accuracy.
  • Use the service legally and ethically. Do not misuse, hack, or disrupt EasyHours.
  • You retain ownership of your data. Ensure you have the right to enter any data, especially personal information of others.
  • Admins must keep company details up-to-date and manage user access responsibly.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We collect personal data (e.g., name, email, usage data) only to provide and improve EasyHours.
  • We comply with GDPR and Swiss privacy laws. Nielsen Ventures acts as a data controller or processor depending on the context.
  • Your data is secured using encryption and secure servers. Payments are handled by PCI-compliant Stripe.
  • We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate EasyHours, when legally required, or during business mergers or acquisitions.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Nielsen Ventures owns EasyHours, including all software, content, logos, and trademarks. You receive a limited license to use EasyHours solely for internal business purposes.
  • You retain ownership of your input data but grant us a license to process it to provide our service.
  • Feedback you provide may be used freely by us without compensation or restriction.

5. Liability Disclaimer

  • EasyHours is provided "as-is" without guarantees. We do not promise continuous availability or error-free performance.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or data loss.
  • Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months or CHF 100 if you haven't paid.
  • You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of EasyHours or breach of these Terms.

6. Termination Policy

  • You may cancel your subscription anytime; access ends after the paid period.
  • We can suspend or terminate your access immediately for violations, security risks, or non-payment.
  • On termination, your data may be deleted permanently; export necessary data before canceling.
  • Refunds are provided only if we terminate your service without cause.

7. Governing Law

  • Swiss law governs these Terms. Disputes will be settled in Swiss courts.

8. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified via email or on EasyHours.eu.
  • Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance.
